This ad is for a Brylcream Commercial featuring Hall of Fame pitcher, Jim Palmer of the Baltimore Orioles. The video quality isn't great, but this spot I assume would have to be from before 1972, because you see Jim Palmer running the bases, bunting and um, actually looking like a well-rounded athlete.
Jim was always known as a ladies man, and this spot does nothing to dispel that notion. Ok, he does sound like a robot, but alas, it's good to find classic commercials like this.
From Youtube: TNA Diamond wrestler, Simon Diamond crashed the White Sox spring training in Tucson, Arizona, this past week, but it obviously didn't go as planned for the TNA star. Following a confrontation with AJ Pierzynski and Dale Torborg, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen took matters into his own hands and took a chair to him!
Not to say that I am the best at analyzing body language or anything, but Joe Torre despite trying to stay on the high road and say the right things is absolutely bitter. I would say he's very steamed at what went on and the disrespect that was shown.
I wonder if he will forgive and forget; however, I do not think it will be that simple considering the way he was treated. He more less said what he felt about the situation, but this is a hurt deeper than we can imagine. It is nice he took the job and said no thanks to the Yankee brass, but seeing him, it was really something would he be reluctant to give up unless it was not on his terms.
Could it be curtains for the Red Sox tonight, as they face the Indians in game five of the American League Championship Series?
Well, Boston ace Josh Beckett faces the large, and in charge, C.C. Sabathia tonight at Jacobs Field in Cleveland.
Now, I predicted the Red Sox to takes the series; however, my prediction is not coming to fruition. The Sox have been battling with lack of clutch hitting, poor starting pitching (aside from Beckett) and a bullpen that was gone through the ringer.
According to some reports now, Josh Beckett is battling back issues, but should be able to make the start. Meanwhile, C.C. Sabathia has been ineffective, as he now has an ERA over 10 in the playoffs.
What will happen? We shall see? I think Boston may win tonight, but it is uncertain if they can take the series.
If Boston makes it to a game six or even seven, will they be able to rely on Curt Schilling and Daisuke Matsuzaka? Can Dustin Pedroia, Kevin Youlikis, and the bottom of the order deliver? On the other hand, Cleveland is doing everything right and looks primed to take the series.
We shall see.

Well, on the NL side, will the layoff affect the Colorado Rockies? Right now, the Rockies still have an additional week to keep their focus and ready for the World Series.
From what has been said, it looks like they will stay in Denver and hold their workouts there. However, you've got think how the layoff will come into play considering their amazing hot streak.
Personally, I think it may not have the much of affect, but it is a concern when a team with a much momentum as the Rockies have to take time off. If you remember, in 2006, the Tigers had about a week off in between the NLCS and World Series; however, they just looked awful (especially, the pitchers) and that could have played a big role in their loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
Well, this is a sight -- Bobby Knight talking baseball, and he's wearing a blue sweater? I know he's a close friend of Tony LaRussa; however, it is real interesting that he's talking about the sport.
Yeah he's ornery, nasty, boorish and can be an ass, but he knows a lot about the game and it shows. Take out the time to listen and experience a side of Bobby Knight few see.
I have been trying to find this video all night, and my mission is accomplished.
Here's video of Dave Trembley being ejected from Wednesday night's ball game.
The best part of Wednesday night was seeing Dave Trembley ejected. He was not happy over a completely botched call by umpire Paul Emml where Scott Moore was called out at second base off a Jay Payton ground out.
However, Howie Kendrick was not on the bag - he was in a completely different time zone.
Alas, Trembley put on a great performance for those in attendance. He must have telepathically tapped into the head of Earl Weaver, Billy Martin or Lou Piniella because in his tantrum he not only drew a line where Kendrick stood and then HE THREW the umpire out due to this utter incompetence.
Awesome!
Thanks to jenner8675309 for the video!

Here are some pictures below!
The photo of him actually throwing the umpire out was blurry & out of focus, so I had to chuck it...
You have to see this video to believe it; it's funny and made me snicker out real loud.
Play it and see you'll what I'm talking about. After the Red Sox invasion of Baltimore, I was quite glad to see this video.
Thanks to *ahorowit* for the video.
God bless Youtube, and God bless the Internet....
Again, if you were in Baltimore last weekend, Red Sox Nation took over.
I found a few videos from WNST's own Nestor Aparicio as he chronicles what the area of Camden Yards looked like when the Red Sox were in town.
Whatever you think of Mr. Aparicio and his radio network, what you see posted here is reality and should be enough to make any Oriole fan sick.
Like I implored in a post earlier this week, when both the Red Sox and Yankees come in town, let's put our feelings toward Peter Angelos and the organization's futility aside.
We need to really get out and support our boys in black and orange.
Ok, I am a little late in finding this video and posting it online; however, thanks to file-sharing and video here's the Kevin Millar post-game interview where he's dosed with Gatorade along with Amber Theoharis.
This took place after his game-winning homer on Sunday where the O's defeated the Boston Red Sox.
Paul Bako and Tike Redman were behind the ambush.
It's quite funny to see, as while Kevin Millar has a sense of humor about it, Amber Theoharis handles the whole thing professionally, but does not look at all pleased.
Kevin got to at least change, I am not so sure about Amber.
I usually try my best to get photos of when stuff like this happens, but I was on the other side of the stadium when this took place.
A special thanks to *gatecitycanes* for the video...
I really don't understand the X-Games, or much less partake in any of the events; however, I did catch the series in Philadelphia a few years ago at the Wachovia Sports Center/Complex.
Of course thanks to Youtube, I wanted to post a clip one of the scariest falls that I have ever seen -- one that made me go "holy s**t"...
Anyhow, the athlete you see, Jay Brown goes into freefall in this incredible halfpipe accident. He fell about fifty feet, landing so hard his shoes flew off. Brown was injured and will require surgery to repair torn ligaments.
I'm suprised he survived, props to him for attempting the stunt and the grace of the God that he is still alive and kicking.
I'm sure never doing that, whether it is from 5 feet up or 50 feet up...
