Train Wrecks: Thoughts on Anna Nicole and Britney Spears

Are we getting tired of the whole Anna Nicole case?

Well, considering the way she lived her life and how it ended, would it be little wonder how things have ended up?

And no, we are not tired of it.

We now have an estranged mother wanting her daughter’s body, her lawyer who went above and beyond his legal duties to his client (you, Stern), a photographer (Larry Birkhead) who claims the baby is his, a trainer who says that he might be the father, some old guy married to a screen legend (Zsa Zsa Gabor now immobile) and a litany of others from the wood work.

Every night on CNN, Headline News, Fox News, E! Online, you have experts, reporters, pundits, and everywhere who sat with her from grade school and up wanting a piece.

Is enough, enough all ready. Well, so much for whatever else is going on in America.

I think we are all captivated because Anna Nicole was a troubled person who was able to make her dreams come true and walk into a whole of money.

My question about the whole thing is with Stern -- ok, now if my girlfriend was sleeping around with um, like 5 or more different men in a nine month period, you know, um, would not think she was less than worthy of being a mate?

Oh, um, it's for the money... that's right.

Oh, yes. Britney - I feel very sorry for her despite her fame, money and her success. I sort of see this as a person crying out for help and acting out, confused and not knowing what to do.

To be honest, she’s at a cracking point and needs help. In life, everything is relative, but when you grow up in front of camera and have every moment of your life analyzed and scrutinized in magazine or on television – your view of the world is very warped.

Short of moving to the hills, which she can do, she needs to get her life in order.

I don’t know what her handlers are doing, but someone needs to get in her way and ask her what the hell she is doing with her life.

Now she's back in rehab!
