Quick Hits - Fast O's News...

Brian Roberts: According to the Sun, it looks like he and the Orioles are close to a 1 year deal in ’07 for $4.2 million, potential avoiding an arbitration hearing. Right now, a long term deal is still being worked out.

Spender Fordin of the Orioles.com previews of the 2007 season in his latest entry, and the focus is with the pitching starting.

I see you in the background, Luis Castillo!!

Hopefully the O's will give Roberts anything he wants - he's pretty awesome.

Thanks Sooze - Roberts should be resigned, as he holds the stature, of let's say Brad Radke held while he played for you all.

He's a fan favorite and Peter Angelos loves him, so I'd be surprised if he's not in an O's until the end of the decade.

However, 2007 will be the test to see whether or not he's truly recovered from that awful injury in late '05.
