Do We Want Jim Edmonds?

It's a new day, and it seems like the Orioles are once again sticking to the low-cost veteran signings to bridge the gap between the youth on the farm and the major league team.

According to Ken Rosenthal, the organization has some interest in veteran Jim Edmonds.

Although, I more or less have some aversion to acquiring guys on the wrong side of thirty -- however, I will make an exception on this one, if we can get him.

It looked like Edmonds' start to 2008 indicated that he was on his last legs as an everyday player; however, once he joined the Cubs, he looked like another man.
