First off, for anyone in NYC who boos A-Rod after today, you need your head examined. He does not get paid 25 million to lose, and today he came through.

Sam, why the hell did you not fight the call further on Jeter in the 9th inning? Furthermore, why in the world was Baez left to face Jason Giambi?

Why was Bynum pinch hitting? You don't send a boy to a man's job, especially against Mariano Rivera!!!

Oh, Anthony you're so right about A-Rod. I was so nervous for him during that at-bat because I knew the fans would be unforgiving if he made out. For today, at least, he's beloved here.
I'm banging my head after this loss.
I never can understand why he got booed the way he does.
Jeter, or not, you all should be lucky that you've got a future Hall of Famer in A-Rod who may hold the HR record when all is said and done.
Did Jeter return to the plate, continued to bat, after being hit by the pitch? The 1st base umpire overrule the call.
Just don't jump off the bridge dude.
It's a long long season. It's time to find someone in Triple-A that's got some pop.
