MLB Stuffage

Mark Buehrle and his No-Hitter! Let’s give Mark Buehrle props for no-hitting the Texas Rangers last night. He faced the minimum 27 batters in a 6-0 victor, as he walked only Sammy Sosa, but then picked him off first base.

Again, Congrats Mark!

Only 17 from Tying Hank – Sigh… Barry Bonds hit homer 738 at SBC Park yesterday to inch closer to Hank’s record.

  • The Mariners signed All-Star second baseman Jose Lopez to a new, four-year contract with a club option for a fifth year in 2011 on Wednesday.
  • Alex Rodriguez hit his ninth homer last night…
  • Howie Kendrick is on the DL, as he has been diagnosed with a broken bone in his left hand, according to ESPN. It is unknown when he’ll be back.
  • Willy Aybar was suspended indefinitely by the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night after the utility infielder failed to report for their game against the Chicago Cubs.
