Orioles Make A Few Minor Moves...

The Baltimore Orioles made a few moves this afternoon as they have signed pitcher Esteban Yan (why?) and catcher Chris Heintz to minor league contracts. They have been invited to Spring Training in hopes of getting a spot.

In light of all the madness, why were both these guys, especially Yan signed (who has been nothing but a bust?) Um, simply to make the team and add depth if they can somehow break through the ranks in Florida for Spring Training.
