Quick Hits: Quick O's News

Paul Shuey an Oriole: The Orioles signed Paul Shuey to a minor league deal and invited him to spring training. Shuey, 36, started in the majors in 1994 & spent 10 years in it, compiling a 45-27 record with a 3.57 ERA in 451 career games with the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers.

News on an Old Friend… Outfielder Larry Bigbie agreed to a minor league contract Friday with the Los Angeles Dodgers and was invited to spring training as a non-roster player. He’s with his fourth team in the last couple of seasons, as he’d never lived up to his promise as a player with the Orioles.

I cannot believe Shuey is still in the majors. Crazy he seems to have been around forever.
