Here's a video of the dust-up from last night between Daniel Cabrera and the Red Sox.
I would not be surprised if he gets suspended, fined or both; however, what Cabrera did was beyond reason and his assumed absence will hurt a team with 3 rookies in the rotation along with Erik Bedard on the shelf.
There was no need for retribution, as the balk that happened before the incident was Coco Crisp trying to play the game the right way. Honestly, Cabrera should have thrown from the stretch with a runner on third.
Cabrera was out of line, and very much out of hand last night.
It's interesting the perspective that Jim Palmer gave on the issue -- he's absolutely right and is almost admonishing Daniel Cabrera for the incident.
