A Witness to History - the Orioles No Hit by Rookie Clay Buchholz

Well, I just got back from Fenway Park, and I am back in the room where I'll retire for the evening.

What an amazing night, although the Orioles lost. There's nothing bad you say about the Red Sox tonight whether you are their biggest fan or hate them with a passion.

You have to give Clay Buchholz credit for pitching his heart out, Jason Varitek for guiding the young man, knowing the Oriole batters and setting up his pitches, along with Red Sox defense.

The atmosphere was electric, and the fans were behind Clay's back all night.

It was a wonderful moment to see the Sox players celebrate the moment with Buchholz on the mound.

The kid was nasty and the final pitch to strike out Markakis was a nasty one, and one to behold.

Sunday is another day and the Orioles will have a chance to make something of the series in Boston; however, the night belongs to Clay Buchholz, the Red Sox, and Red Sox Nation.

Congrats to you all.
