Ripken Article by Tim Kurkjian
ESPN's own Tim Kurkjian has come out with another article on a another future Hall of Famer, this time, our own Cal Ripken. Once again, another great read and Tim gets down Ripken's accomplishments, what means to the game, and even more importantly, gets to the essence of what made Ripken so great and humanizes him.
The article gets reflections from current & former players and those who knew and worked with Cal Ripken. A good portion goes into the influence, stories and makeup of his family, most especially his father and wife.
A pleasant, fantastic piece for not only Oriole fans, but all baseball fans.
