Getting Paid...

According to MSNBC, the average salary of a MLB player is 2.7 million. Thanks to the rising revenue of ball clubs, TV, radio, the internet, players are cashing in more than ever and pushing salaries towards record levels.

Of course, the New York Yankees had the highest payroll and per average salary, while the Astros were second, and Boston, the Mets and the White Sox rounded up the top 5.
