The Orioles got nothing out of the meetings in terms of deals, trades or good news. We lost a prospect to the Rule 5 draft, DFA'ed Aaron Rakers, and signed some minor talents.

We lost a chance to sign Luis Gonzales, and we offered Jason Schmidt money comparable to what he would have received with the Dodgers, but he didn't bite.
