Jay Payton Officially an O...

The Baltimore Sun is reporting that Jay Payton has signed a deal with the Orioles for 2 years and 9.5 million. Right now, it looks like he will be the starting left fielder, but the O's could always make another move and keep him as a reserve outfielder. His numbers last year were not great at all, but as the situation is right now with us, someone had to be signed.

Do I like the deal? He's ok, but I would have preffered a much bigger bat with far superior numbers, but he's an outfielder and for now he'll do.
