Bonds re-signed with the Giants for 1 year/16 million. He had no choice, no one wanted him and he had no where to go. The Giants had no choice, as they were a last place team without him and he's their meal ticket.

I see the Giants gave in and gave Barry close to what he wanted. The Giants would suck even more without him, but now they are no better than at least a third place team in the NL West.

The Giants needed him, and Barry needs the Giants. They are in a loveless and screwed up marriage of money and baseball...
