The Game Last Night: The Streak Halted, O's Lose 3-2 to the Angels on the Left Coast...
Last night, the O’s inning streak ended at 6, as the Angels beat the O’s on the left coast in Anaheim by a score of 3-2 last night in a close game. The Orioles gave AL win leader John Lackey a challenge, but the Angels were able to make the most of the opportunities against Daniel Cabrera and earn the win.
Daniel went a little over six innings, and got his 6th loss of the year although he had another good start.
The Orioles offense was provided by a two-run shot by Miguel Tejada to start off the game, but after that Lackey showed why he’s one of the best in the game.
However, the boys in black and orange could not make the most of having men on base, and K-Rod, Francisco Rodriguez earned the save.
