Layeth the Smacketh Down... The Cubs Carlos Zambrano and Michael Barrett

The Cubs spent $300 million dollars in the acquisition of talent in the off-season and right now, it's looking like a train wreck.

In light of Sweet Lou Piniella blowing up and Alfonso Soriano forgetting how to swat homers, it's become a powder keg in Cubbie-world.

Friday, 'Big Z', Carlos Zambrano and Michael Barrett tussled in the Cubs dugout, and Big Z decided to channel "The Rock", Dwayne Johnson. He whooped up on Barrett and sent him to the hospital with six stitches to his lip, along with swelts and bruises.

The two men put the incident behind them and were fined.

When Lou Piniella left Tampa Bay, he thought his fortunes would be better; however, he's finding out in Chicago, there's a reason why the Cubs are the Cubs...

Thanks to the magic of the Internet and Yotube, you can see the action as it is...

Sweet Lou got tossed today for arguing a call similar to what happened with Torre at third last night.

I heard -- I wonder what is going through his mind on a daily basis, good lord...
