Drawing A Line In The Sand; Roberts Rumored To Be Gone Next Week?

In yet another line of news involving our second baseman, Brian Roberts - here's the newest rumor - this time from ESPN's Jason Stark.

I don't know what to believe anymore, but the news of him being traded has been in place at least three or so months. We should applaud Andy MacPhail for his patience, and it is only a forgone conclusion that Roberts will be traded, but when?

Bird Land: An official of one club that has been in touch with the Orioles and Cubs predicts the Orioles will trade Brian Roberts to Wrigleyville in the third week of March. The most likely package continues to be Roberts and Jay Payton for Sean Gallagher, Ronny Cedeno and at least one more prospect.
