Now if there's just some way to get Jim Rice into the Hall...

Rice should be in the Hall, as he is on par with Tony Perez and a few other hitters of that generation.
These writers need to stop comparing the players of the 70's vs. those of today and compare contrast players against their peers of their respective generation.
