Steve Trachsel was much better yesterday, than he was in his first start against St. Louis in Grapefruit League action. As well, a litany of players such as Brandon Fahey, Terry Tiffee, J.R. House, Freddie Bynum and Adam Stern are hoping to be the 25^th man on the roster.

Peter Schmuck thinks the Orioles have three years to improve based on the contracts given to players that run through 2009.

Want to be a bat boy or a ball girl? The Orioles are holding tryouts! Heck, I’ll do it (I’m 28, and it would make a great story to just do it).

Ok, I am going to try out to be a bat boy; however, at 6’4” and 215-220 lbs, I may be confused for a player, and that won’t help out my chances. Realistically, I would never be chosen, but it would be fun to do.
